The Selo de Idoneidade (R&D Seal of Suitability) is awarded by ANI to companies that demonstrate the technical, scientific, and organizational capacity to perform R&D activities. This means, in short, that the Portuguese State officially acknowledges that Pixelmatters is qualified to provide R&D services that meet the highest standards of credibility and quality.

If your company has a legal entity in Portugal, the services contracted to Pixelmatters can potentially be classified as eligible R&D expenses. That means you can recover between 32.5% and 82.5% of your total investment with us through SIFIDE (Sistema de Incentivos Fiscais em Investigação e Desenvolvimento Empresarial), Portugal’s main tax incentive program for corporate R&D.
