FC Porto’s Portal do Sócio has won the Dragão de Ouro for Best Project, and we couldn’t be prouder. This award recognizes the ambition, innovation, and impact behind a platform built to transform the membership experience for one of Europe’s most historic and decorated football clubs.

From the outset, FC Porto had a clear goal: strengthen its relationship with supporters through a secure, scalable digital platform that delivers an intuitive experience while honoring the club’s heritage and looking confidently toward the future.

Pixelmatters had the privilege of designing and developing this experience, working side by side with FC Porto to bring that vision to life. From strategy to execution, our focus was on building a world-class platform capable of serving a global fanbase at scale.

The result? In the first 24 hours, the platform welcomed 1,000 new or returning members and handled more than 12,000 simultaneous visits. Within six months, Portal do Sócio reached over one million unique supporters worldwide and converted more than 16,000 new or returning members, achieving full return on investment in just three months.
