Reflecting on 10 years of Pixelmatters
A decade ago, I could never have imagined what this would become.

André Oliveira
Founder & CEO

After almost 12 years leading Pixelmatters as Founder & CEO, I’m excited to share that I’ll be transitioning to the role of Chairman on January 1st, 2026.
My long-time colleague and friend Bruno Teixeira will step into the CEO role.
Bruno is one of the most talented, hard-working and passionate professionals I ever came across in my career, having joined Pixelmatters in 2016 as a Software Engineer, later becoming Product Owner, then Head of Product. He’s proven to be a thoughtful leader, deeply aligned with our values, and instrumental in shaping what Pixelmatters is today.
This transition has been in the making for about a year. It’s built on a foundation of trust, shared vision, and stability — so while the titles are changing, Pixelmatters remains the same: our culture, services, and way of working will continue exactly as you know them.
I’ll remain actively involved with sales, client relationships, and strategic initiatives, while having more space to focus on external communication, events, and community building — areas that can further expand Pixelmatters' surface area and therefore lead to grow our business.
This is not a farewell, but rather a new step in our journey. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s ahead!
