Venture capital as we know it is broken.
How many Founders enjoy dealing with investors or fundraising?
The pressure.
The non-realistic goals.
Having your business taken away from you.
To be entitled to become an investor, having gone through the process of building a company shouldn’t be optional. It should be mandatory.
Fortunately, things are changing. More and more Founders are becoming Investors and new investing models are arising.
My name is André and I'm the founder of a digital product studio called Pixelmatters.
Initially, my goal was to create a product of my own, but guess what... I failed to fundraise.
While I was wasting time with VCs, Pixelmatters kept on gaining momentum.
10 years have flown by in the meantime.
As I reflect on what kept me going all these years, I have no doubts it was the special energy of always being in touch with other Founders.
The risk-takers. The creatives. The builders. The hustlers.
For those shaping the world of tomorrow, I can’t wait to see what we will build together.
